This policy explains what information Upgrade Yard ("we," "us") collects through this website and our communications, how we use it, and the choices you have.

Information this website collects

This website does not use cookies for advertising or tracking, and has no advertising tags. Our hosting provider, Cloudflare, may process basic technical information, such as IP address, browser type, and the pages requested, to deliver the site and protect it from abuse. Website analytics

We use Cloudflare Web Analytics to count visits and see which pages are useful. It is cookieless: it does not set cookies or use local storage, and it does not build a profile of you or follow you across other websites. It records information such as the page visited, the referring site, browser and device type, country, and page load times, and we see only totals. Our contact form

If you use the contact form, we collect your name, business name, email address, phone number (if you give it), and your message. We use them only to reply to you and to keep a record of our conversation. The form is delivered to our business inbox by an email delivery service, Resend, which processes the message only to deliver it. [CONFIRM: email delivery provider at launch, Resend]

To block spam, the form uses Cloudflare Turnstile, which checks signals from your browser and device to tell people from bots. Cloudflare processes that information under its own privacy policy. [CONFIRM: Turnstile wording]

Information you send us

If you email, call, send the contact form, or book a call, we receive what you choose to share, such as your name, business name, email address, phone number, and your message. We use it to reply, to schedule and hold the call, and to keep a record of our communication with you.

If you book through our online booking page, Google, which provides that page, also processes your booking details under its own privacy policy. [CONFIRM: once the Google booking page is live]

Business outreach emails

We may send a business email to a company at an address it publishes for business purposes. Every such email identifies Upgrade Yard, includes our mailing address, and tells you how to stop further emails. We honor opt-out requests promptly, and within 10 business days at the latest, and we never ask for more than your email address to process one.

How we use and share information

• We use information to respond to you, provide and improve our services, and keep our business records.
• We do not sell personal information, and we do not share it for targeted advertising.
• We share information only with service providers that help us run our business (for example email, scheduling, and hosting), or when the law requires it.

Customer records of businesses that use our services

When a business uses a system we build and support, the records it keeps about its own customers belong to that business. We process them only to provide our services, under a written agreement with that business. Its customer records are always its own, exportable any time in standard formats. Questions about those records should go to the business you dealt with.

How long we keep information

We keep communications and contact details only as long as needed for the purposes above, or as required by law. [CONFIRM: retention period]
